Spring arrives, flowers still in bed

I don’t know if it’s just me but considering spring was supposed to have arrived a week ago I’m not very impressed with her performance so far. If night time temperatures of -6 is supposed to be spring no wonder the flowers don’t want to get out of bed in the morning. I know exactly how they feel.

The ‘Met Office‘ have already said that the winter was the coldest in almost 100 years, and there edging their bets about us brits being able to get our barbecues out this summer (what is a man to do if he can’t burn a piece of animal flesh over a naked flame and give food poisoning to his mother in law) so it’s not looking to promising for the easter bunny. Scarf and gloves for the little fluffy creatures I think.
